I like your site. Great restaurant reviews. I just wanted to let you know that bertucci's will cook anything that used to be on their menu. If you remember the name of the pizza or dish you can ask for it. I do this all the time. One of our favorite off menu pizzas is Nolio, carmelized onions and procuitto with a cream based sauce. Yummmm. They make a great one at the Bertucci's on RT 20 in Marlboro.

I'm new to the site but have lived in Framingham all my life, not far from downtown, so we're practically neighbors!
So I may have missed it but you can't have a pizza discussion without mentioning the Framingham Baking Company's bakery pizza. hands down the best pizza in the Metrowest!!!

Oh my gawd. I grew up in Framingham, so your pics really made me smile, especially the one of the old library. Ahhh, the memories. Anyway, I was just doing research for my job (I'm a travel writer/editor), so I appreciate all of the insider info. I moved away long ago, so I certainly need the tips. Alas--I'm a stranger in my own hometown.

and i thought you didn't like chain restaurants. Bertucci's is pretty solid pizza wise (most of the time). the one in the picture looks expertly cooked. not sure about the toppings though.

I miss the sausage soup they used to have years ago, they changed it and the salad was changed around the same time and that was it for me. I'll go to Bert's if someone else really wants to, but I can certainly live without it. Why oh why do these restaurants insist on changing a perfectly good item on the menu??? The 99 Restaurant did that to me as well - the menu is never the same, each time I find something I like, the next time I go back - POOF! It's gone!

The Lestina pizza from Bertuccis is really good if you like garlic. Our usual is the Margerhita (sp?). They will sell you raw pizza dough if like making your own. It used to be around $1 but I haven't gotten it in awhile. Gianni's is still my favorite local pizza place though.
