I have been to Bollywood twice since they opened. Both times had really really good food and not so good service.
The Shrimp Tandoori is amazing!
Will return for the feasting and hope the service improves.

Not sure why all the negative comments about Rasoi, I’ve gone several times and really like the dahl. And a friend of mine who liked Indian food a lot (and knows a lot more about it than I do) goes there regularly. Plus you can get ingredients like curry powder for much less than the typical grocery store at the nearby market.

Wow I can’t believe that Welcome India gets such good reviews–I never would have tried it because I think it looks beyond sketchy from the outside! Gold Star is great although sometimes the owner can be off-putting, not a big fan of Minerva, and yes the place in the mall is great–because they are a real Indian restaurant also–I think in Billerica. They are also at the Burlington Mall. Great deal on samosas–2 for $2.95 compared to 2 for more like $5 in the other restaurants. Thanks for the tips on Welcome India!

Welcome India is the best Indian food in Framingham. Curry Leaf and Gourmet India (the place at the natick mall food court) are OK, and Rasoi really REALLY sucks.

Count me among the votes for Welcome Fine India. It’s become our “go-to” Indian restaurant for both eat-in and (more often) take-out. We lived in Cambridge for several years before coming out to the ‘Ham, and Welcome compares favorably to the 15+ places we tried there. To top it all off, they’re courteous, friendly, prompt, etc. — big thumbs up!

I have been past there a couple times waiting for it to open. I got a peek inside and it looks very modern and sophisticated. I’m a regular Bollywood customer and there food is AMAZING!

Another vote for Welcome. Rasoi, Gold Star, etc. seem fine but Welcome’s got that little something extra of flavor, fresh ingredients, and hot flaky samosa crusts!
