I've been friends with their son, Mike since grade school and never knew they made sausages. They were once known for their meats.

The sign blew down in a storm recently. They're planning to have it replaced soon.

The Cintolo's sausages are great. And visiting with the Cintolo's is a lot of fun. Mr. Cintolo tells great stories about his early working years. And Mrs. Cintolo has great recipes to share.

They don't stock a lot of the shelves, but they're always there when someone needs them.

It is great to hear that Louie is still making those great sausages. They were always the best around. Simply no equal.

Michelle,

There was a sign on Cintolo's until recently. I am not sure if the Sign By-Law has anything to do with the sign being gone. I used to go into Cintolo's quite a bit but it's been awhile since I've been there. Lou Cintolo has run Cintolo's for 70 years. His wife handles most of the business end at this time. This part of Framingham (Hartfore St. area) used to be called "Lokerville" and for years Lou was affectionately called, "The Mayor of Lokerville"!

Can we help local businesses by somehow getting a rep or any political figure in Framingham to give the small business owner in town the ability to put signs out without such restrictions?

Is that a run-on sentence? :D

Anyway, excellent post good post. This is my first time hearing about this market.

Thanks again Michelle!
