I hope so. They do need to fix those Steps down at Town Hall/Memorial Building. I walk by there and it's kind of embarrassing to be a part of the town when our main government structure is defaced by such wear. Not only that, I would like to see more tech jobs out this way AND maybe some Prometric testing centers so I don't have to hope a train or drive away from Framingham to test. I know, that's strictly a geeky request. I'm kind of selfish, but I don't mind if this one doesn't happen. I think if we could attract some better restaurants too it'd be nice. I'm not knocking Brazilian food completely, but we could use more variety, right? I'm just a picky bastard though, what do I know..... She promises:

He's an O.K. guy. He would have made a good State Rep. All that said, I was for Pam Richardson. I'm a Republican and the best I could do was write her in on my ballot! Pam R. is very liberal by my standards and we disagree on a lot of the classic "liberal/conservative" issues. All that said, she's no elitist. Her husband is a Framingham firefighter. She's a "real" person who understands the struggles of real people in Framingham. During her first weeks in office, I had consumer related problems with a major utility co. I communicated with hear and asked for her help, and she really (personally) "went to bat" for me. I was impressed! Does she need to get more involved in "downtown Framingham" issues? I'd say "yes". Is she perfect, no, but she's a good person. I get her on-line newsletter. I think those of us who care about Framingham need to start frequently communicating with Pam R. and letting her know our concerns. If she "comes through", GREAT! If not, we can actively support someone to run against her in 2010. Michelle (and others)-
