This sucks big time. Closed in a flash. It looked like things were great this past summer. It was a unique store because I was collecting NES games, and recently started to purchase Genesis games.

I hope one day, Game Universe would work out a plan to reopen the place somewhere else when they fix whatever the problem was and start over again. Till then, I have to rely on eBay to get my games and had to put up with the shipping costs to get my classic games. I also hope that I don’t get conned by counterfeiters on eBay.

Oh Please, would whoever owned the store at least PLACE whatever reason why they shut the store down. I check the sites, and there was nothing. What a shame.

I hope they reopen this store some point in the future. If not, I hope that someone would open up a store that sells classic games again. Maybe someone will chip in to reopen the store.

Now I must wait for it to appear on Amazon, it’s pretty rare.

Miss you game universe!!

If you want a real gaming center, it should have a more solid foundation, just like any good place.

How the giant model spaceship would grind by overhead while the fog machines pumped out smoke and you got your quarters from the man behind the smoked glass enclosure? Skee-Ball, the Pool Hall, the snack-bar and all the people I used to know who worked there are all long gone but I still can remember it all clear as day.

I remember when they brought Dragon’s Lair in and had the extra screen bolted to the top of the cabinet so everyone could ooh and ahh at the future of videogaming. I miss “Games”.
