Amy (above) is my daughter from Missouri! I live right down the street from the Han Dynasty. The Han Dynasty opened somewhere around 1990. Before that, it was "Wallace's Family Restaurant". In the 1990s, the Han Dynasty food was BAD. In the past two years, or so, it has gotten much better. I agree, Michelle, about the General Gau's chicken. MOST of the meats are quite good. The fried rice is O.K.-could be better. Overall, I'd give Han Dynasty's food a "B"; in the '90s it was close to an "F".

I grew up down the street from the Han Dynasty and remember smelling it early in the morning and thought it was disgusting. I went there a few times growing up and didn't think it was that great, but recently I have had it a few times when I've gone to visit my parents and i really like it now! They sure have gotten better over the years. I'm looking forward to having it Christmas Eve for our traditional chinese food dinner that night

Han's is the best for a late night drink -- they are open until about 1 or 2 am, and the food isn't all that bad either! Unless its the alcohol helping lol..

Not sure what all the hooplaa over Green Tea is- I never even heard of the place. Han Dynasty is a landmark- been there for a very long time. The food is probably not as great as it once was, but still decent. The best though still remains Imperial China!
