...And here I am, over a year later, joining the crowd ,wondering what happened to 'Cookies Cookin'. They also used to be in the Mischuwam (Sp.?) Mall right across from the McDonald's in Woburn. I used to get a POUND of those lucious peanut butter nuggets (I think I'm salavating) and a POUND of the Butterscotch... no wonder I got so FAT! LOL! Did anyone ever find the recepe to any of the cookies??? Please, please email me at c_cac@hotmail.com. LoveY'all!

Hey guys- my family was just talking about the old Cookies Cookin' in Framingham over Christmas dinner two weeks ago. We were all wondering the same thing- where can we find another Cookies Cookin or at least find a recipe?? I'd probably make a trip across the country for one of those peanut butter cookies! If anyone has any info, can you let me know? My phone number is 508-333-0936. Thanks!!

Herbie's actually started in downtown Framingham in the early 80's, I don't remember the exact location, but it was a lot like Steve's back in the day.

Herbies had a great mural on the wall with the Penguins. They had the BEST chocolate ice cream, I still have never been able to find its equal.

Herbie's was great, my brother worked there when he was 14. It moved to Sudbury for a while but didn't quite make it. I heard that Rick the owner had a problem with the white stuff.

I have been wondering about Cookies Cookin' too. They were the best cookies ever and none compare to the peanut butter nuget ones. I would be happy to at least have a recipe to try and duplicate the ones they made there. If anyone ever finds out where they went or they find the recipe I would love to know!

Looks like I might have to take a drive out to Marlborough for some pizza one day. I'm glad to hear Makka's Pizza is still around. I actually worked in Lechmere one summer and used to each lunch there all the time.

Now if only I could find a Cookies Cookin'! I was also thinking it was a chain because I think there might have been one in the Cambridge Side Galleria at one point. But I Googled the name and I think maybe the whole chain shut down because I can't find anything.

I miss the Cape Cod. It was a great place to go for lunch for a burger and fries and then, of course, an ice cream for dessert.
