Note the ONE. It was at a posh (very) private beach club on Long Island. I had several run ins with mothers like this, filthy rich, shit-talking with their gal pals by the pool while their kids held someone underwater. i'd get after the kids and get the whole "you piece of shit trash below me employee... don't you speak to my little angel with an authoritative tone. you speak to me first, and i will speak with my darling about his dangerous behavior." kinds of attitudes. seriously. what the hell is wrong with people. teaching a child from a young age not to listen to an authority figure who has his/her safety in task is incredibly dangerous.
