New buffet coming

March 22nd, 2007

I’d like to thank to Karen for pointing out the work being done on the building that was the old Rainbow Buffet, Super Buffet, Scioletti’s, Tony Roma’s etc.. I looked up the work permits and it looks like it will be another restaurant called “Asia Buffet”.  I’m glad something is hapening with this place. agrilabs ivermectin 1.87% paste   I hope they really do some work on the exterior, this building has bothered me for a while. truvada compantible with ivermectin

  1. I’ve only lived in Framingham 5 years and in that time this place has been shut down at least twice by the health department, and each time it reopens under a new name. The last two incarnations were as a buffet restaurant with a strong Asian influence, so I’m afraid this is the same owner back to run an unhealthy and unclean business. I hope I’m wrong and its a new owner, and I agree – the building is a huge eye sore.

  2. I get my haircut right there and when I went to my appointment last week I took a long look at that building and couldn’t believe how run down it looks. I’ve sort of ignored it in the past but jeez! I’m glad something is going on there but I agree with the previous poster…I hope it’s not the same people!
I also remember it being some kind of club at night but I can’t recall the name. In the early to mid nineties. Perhaps it was a buffet during the day club at night? I don’t know.
    I’m just rambling now.

  3. Thanks for investigating for me, Michelle. I wish that you had better news, though. I was hoping that there would be something good coming in there. We definitely don’t need another Asian buffet there. I won’t be going back after getting sick from the last buffet there.

  5. FYI “Asia Buffet” is going to be under a different management than its previous owners in Rainbow Buffet. I know this because I know the guy that’s going to own it. Hope everything goes well, that place seems to have bad luck.

  6. I direct this question to Rich since it seems he may have some inside information. I work locally and was wondering as to when the restaurant is going to open?

  7. Last I heard, it was going to open late June/early July… however, seeing that it is mid-July now, there must be something going on that is pushing the grand opening back. I haven’t heard from the owner in about a month or so now, so I hope everything is going fine.

  9. last time I ate there I did experience the worst intestinal symptoms in my whole life.
    I thought I would die.
Since them, I have been avoiding chinese restaurants.

  10. Haveing been there 5 times with friends and dates since Jan of 2008 , I’ve yet to have a bad experience. Having been in the business and of Chinese decent, I can attest to the authenticity and quality of the food serve.

One does not need to go to Chinatown to experience the real thing, Though many of the dishes offered
are “americanized” to cater to the american pallette, there is more “authentic” food available than I can eat at one sitting. As for the prices, it is a fraction of what you would pay if located on Newwbury st .
