Wow, first it was Cumberland Farms in Holliston (now called Country Farms) and now Store 24. What is happening to our great community?!

Next thing you know they are going to change the name of the Ted Williams Highway to Mickey Mantle Way! Ahhhh!!!

Hey!

Great site! Sorry for the more general comment in this post but I do love the 'ham... I was part of the last class to graduate Farley Middle School in 1990 and spent many days at the old shoppa's world (love the vintage pix), most of it spent at the House of Zodiac buying fake cigarettes and sliding down the escalators at Sears. Still come back to visit and joined the McCarthy and Farley alumni groups on facebook to keep the memories of the 'ham alive.

If you're looking for new material, I suggest an expose on Dean Pharmacy... I must of spent close to $432,000 on now & laters there, we still think it was a front for something.

Great blog, keep it up!

This from "The Patriot Ledger"

ROCKLAND — Tedeschi Food Shops Inc. is slowly but steadily phasing out its Li’l Peach and Store 24 brands, replacing the names with its flagship brand named after the Tedeschi family that still owns the chain.

I stop in there once in a great while and for a long time the register reciepts have said Tedeschi's. Also in my old home town (Dracut) we had a 7-11 and that recently became a Tedeschi's, so I think that Tedeschi's must be buying out all the little guys.

On an unrelated note, does anybody know what happened to that Brazillian restaurant, "Brazille", near the Gulf station in downtown Framingham? It always seemed to have a big crowd in front of it, especially on the weekends, and now it is closed all the time. I think its kind of strange.
