Pizza Quest: Pepperocini’s

August 4th, 2006

Unfortunately someone hacked the server for the blog and I won’t get into the whole ordeal of getting everything back but I lost my last few posts including “pizza quest: Francos”.
I’ll try to repost about Francos but for now I’ll just re-cap our trip to Pepperoncini’s.

We were lured in by the $5 pizza on Tuesdays and Sundays.
I haven’t been in here since it was the red star pub, which was kind
of a dive (but I like dives) and this place is more family friendly, which is fine too.
We started off with the boneless buffalo wings which were really good because they were crunchy.
The sauce was really good, I was surprised they had such good wings. dosis de ivermectina para escabiosis
We also split a ridiculous looking drink for 2 that made me glad we walked there.
Then comes the pizza. I think “ok” is the most accurate description I can give.
Itsmelled just like Papa Gino’s and tasted very similar.  I think  for a large is a decent deal though, we couldn’t finish it and took it home. ivermectin cream   We found the suspicious looking pizza chef on the box an interesting choice for a box cover though.

What’s in the center of the pizza? A nipple?

  2. Yah, I agree (not about the nipple, about the pizza sicko) — it’s just so, so — We went here our first day in Framingham a little over a year ago and it was OK — Not bad, Not great either.

  3. Hi,
I am really enjoying reading your pizza-eating quest in the Framingham area. Are you taking the show on the road and doing other towns?
By the way..for those of you with no clue- it’s a pepperoncini (a pepper) in the middle of the pizza- hence the name of the place- DUH!

enjoy and keep the reviews coming!

  4. ever consider trying a pizza shop as old as famous that is still here in framingham? try THE PIZZA WAGON! it may not be the best, but to be able to sit in a store that hasnt changed in 20-25 years would make any pizza taste great!

  5. I was really surprised by your review of pepperoncini’s. About a year ago, I tried it after so many of my friends had recommended trying the pizza there as they know that i’m a bit of a pizza snob. I now frequent there often and everybody i talk to speaks very highly of the place. They also offer a very lively bar on most weeknights and during the weekend (much better crowd than the red star offered). Anyway, just thought i’d share my experience/s with the place. Thanks!

P.S. Maybe try a pizza with toppings next time…might make a difference.
