		<description>Remove and send the "snail" over to Keefe for restoration. They can check the welds (repair if required), sandblast/sand, than fresh paint. Good and worthy project for the students. It  should be saved.</description>

		<description>They had the exact same snail thing at the playground where I went to elementary school in Wellesley. I used to love that thing but it was eventually torn up and replaced with an all wooden playground.</description>

		<description>It looks like they're doing some tree clearing down by the catelpillar.  Think they're making an open space there or is it just some landscaping?

The last time I was at Farm Pond I walked across the dam and saw a huge dead snapping turtle, belly-up, about 50' from where some kids were fishing.  I'll have to get back there soon to put this "the last time I was at Farm Pond" story to rest!</description>
