This spot would've been great for a modest restaurant of some sort; but now, to me, it's just another sign of the insidious degradation of that part of town. So much for "restaurant row" as the selectmen were at one time fantasizing about for this stretch of 135. (If there's one upside, now when you order wings at Wings Over Framingham, you can pick up a rack of beer next door!) Not to get too off track here, but in response to EK’s post, does the town — especially Downtown — really need a liquor store?

It's food is probably on par with Sichuan Gourmet, but more authentic "Sichuan" style. This place very appreciated in the asian community because it doesn't produce "American style" Chinese food. If you go there, be bold and order something new instead of the typical chicken fingers, spareribs, etc. We’ve been to Red Pepper a few times (3-4) and had very positive experiences there.
