The reference to a rocker jacket takes me back to Framingham South High School in the late 70's when we referred to young fellows in leather jackets as "leather clad rockers" - the line comes from the Who's Quadraphrenia.

The leather clad rockers were considered degenerates. Whereas - it being the 70's - those who didn't wear leather, but preferred blue jeans and smoking weed, they were the creme de la creme of South High Society!

I think a Rocker Jacket might be like the one Pat Benetar wore on the "Love is a Battlefield" album, which clearly is made of 100% pure dungaree:

Do you think they sell those at the Salvation Army? Maybe she was filming a video for a new revamp of V66, wearing that jacket and walking down the train tracks with all her posessions on her back - kinda moving, yes?

There was another report of a suspicious person wearing a "dungaree" jacket and I actually leaned back in my chair when I read that. I don't think I've heard anyone use that word in 20 years.

For some reason I can only picture this "rocker jacket" as something Richard Marx would wear but no real definition of what it should look like.

I would guess that MDSE would be merchandise, as in three pillowcases of merchandise from Salvation Arly was stolen.

I'm pretty sure MDSE stands for "merchandise".

I don't know about "rocker jacket". My first guess is some sort of leather or denim jacket. Seems like "leather jacket" or "denim jacket" would have been more descriptive if that were the case though.
