Sweet Spot Frozen Yogurt

June 10th, 2012

I was driving home on Rt. 9 today and I passed Trolley Square.  As I was traveling up the ramp to Edgell Rd I noticed a new sign where Vera’s Deli used to be.  I was in the left lane it was too late to take a right to check it out but actually turned around at the next light just to go back and take a picture.

Yay! I’m so excited something fun is moving into this space.   According to Sweet Spots’s Facebook page they will have 45 rotating frozen yogurt flavors with over 60 toppings to choose from.  Sounds awesome, I’m looking forward to checking them out.
You can check out their facebook page here:

  1. 4 months we wait for an update and this is the best you got? A frozen yogurt joint that isn’t even open! Why dont you sell the site off to someone who gives a toot about the local community and isn’t just trying to help local friends businesses make money. #forshame

  2. I have always posted about places that are not open yet and that will be occupying vacant space. Also,I have no idea who these people are and third,I always have to point out to people like you that write angry comments and hide behind fake emails that this is a personal blog. I do it when I have the time or interest.
If you are not happy with it, please just don’t visit, that way you won’t get upset enough to make comments like you did.
It’s funny, when I have posted regularly there are people who don’t like what I write or tell me to get a life, then if I take a break and “finally” post that’s not good enough either.
Sorry to disappoint you but please remember I do this as a hobby, don’t get so upset if it’s not what you want.

  5. Bravo, Michelle! Now granted, I am a fan of this website and i wanted more entries, but hey, you’re right, IT’S A PERSONAL BLOG! It’s not run by your local government, we’re not paying our tax dollars for it and it’s also NOT a website that tells you where your heart medication is hidden….SO GET OVER IT!

Let me clue you in on the internet…there are MILLIONS of web sites out there and if you are jonesin’ for something local then there are other choices (not millions but enough) OR you can start your own! i think the critique of Michelle was kind of unnecessary….btw, what’s with the “#forshame”??? “Shame” for not updating a personal blog?? LOLOLOL

  6. Don’t listen to people like “Larry”, Michele. The internet brings out so much toxicity that I’m close to giving up forums completely. I swear some people just use it as a repository for their undealt-with anger issues.

There are those of us who enjoy your posts and certainly understand that it’s not possible to post with regularity these days. I started a blog a few years ago thinking I’d write once a week and I haven’t written anything in 8 months. 🙂

  7. I’m excited about a frozen yogurt place. I love Mad Willie’s but it’s not handicapped accessible, which can cause some issues.

Also …. get a life Larry and WTG Michelle. Michelle has a life outside of This Is Framingham. I love the site although I wish posts were more frequent as I find them interesting and fun. But her sole purpose in life is not to tell people what’s going on and where to go … although I’m sure in this case she might like to tell someone where to go.

You do a great job Michelle. And Larry, if you see something interesting that you think people might like to know about, why not email Michelle and ask her to post it. If she does, she might even give your grumpy self the credit. 🙂

  8. Larry needs a life.. Reminds me of a quote…

  9. Veras wasn’t bad, good sandwiches to go, good selection but I think ice cream establishments fare better when theres a place to wander around outside and eat your cone, maby a few picnic tables, you cant do that there……

  12. Hey everyone,
My name is Terry and I’m one of the owners here at Sweet Spot. I was browsing the web looking to see what would come up when I typed in the name of my business. First off I know it’s a little late but I wanted to apologies for the lengthy opening. My fiancé Nghi and I are first time business owners and we really underestimated the amount of time it took to finalize all the paperwork and permitting required before we could start renovating the old Vera’s. We opened up on Sep. 5th and we would love for you to stop by. I’m sure you’ll like what you see.
