It's easily the best Mexican in the area, and frankly, the best Mexican I've been to in the Boston area. It's certainly better than the chains, and it's better than any of the more happening Boston Mex joints like The Cactus Club. I'm particularly impressed by the carne asada. You're right on the guac, though; I think they use too much sour cream and not enough avocado. Great blog! Who knew you could write something interesting and new about Framingham on a near-daily basis? BTW, have you written about the Jewish deli off the offramp from Route 9 West to Edgell Road? It's very good, and it's the best Jewish deli in the area since G and G Deli, formerly by Fairway Bowling in Natick, closed. Try their corned beef or pastrami. I’m from Natick–don’t live there now–but I love The Aztec. It’s easily the best Mexican in the area, and frankly, the best Mexican I’ve been to in the Boston area. In fact they brought a small dish of beans and cheese for our toddler, which she loved, with no charge on the bill. I love the Aztec too, but the menu is a bit limited.
