Venue License Agreement

October 13th, 2021

A key result of the license are the event management plans. These management plans are developed by the organizers and submitted to the Venus Services team for review. The team can provide feedback and input to these plans from the perspective of an event venue expert to support the smooth running of your event. Management plans must be completed 2 weeks prior to entry to the event site. Venue rental fees are demand-driven and depend on the nature and scale of your event and the impact it may have on the parks. Depending on the size and scale of your event, other government agencies may need information about the event and may need to approve elements of the event. For example, a spirits licence requires permission from the NSW Office of Liquor Gaming and Racing and the NSW Police. enhanced sound is subject to prevention notification from the NSW Environment Protection Authority; structures built may be subject to written certification from a qualified construction consultant to ensure compliance with Australia`s Building Codes (BCA). and the sale and/or supply of food and beverages may be subject to approval by the relevant municipal council. In addition, it may be necessary to consult the national transit authority regarding bus services for guests at major events, and NSW Roads and Maritime Services may be required to be associated when major events have an impact on roads outside the parks.

In order to ensure public safety, the site`s patronage capacity is defined in the license. The capacity limit also makes it possible to determine the facilities needed for the event, from food, beverages and portable toilets to first aid and transportation facilities. Licensee is required to provide $20 million in liability and indemnification insurance certificates to Licensee and its suppliers and subcontractors. You may also need a location security assessment – for more information, see Toolkit for Location Security Assessment.. . . .
