We also picked up some wonderful cheese and eggplant tapenade - One of the owners, Dave, was extremely helpful and friendly, suggesting what to get and explaining why you want to get one thing vs. another. I can't wait to go back and try some of their meat marinara and other goodies. Before we knew it, we had already bought $40 worth of groceries! ;-) P P Hey All,

Whole Foods makes a decent cannoli also, though the ones from this place are definitely better. They don't take credit cards. I've had them from Modern too. Even tried Wholly Cannoli in Worcester and I have to say this really was the best cannoli out of all of them. They don't have fancy flavors like some places but it's the best for a fresh, "pure" cannoli- you don't need any fancy flavors with this.
