Former Bickford’s going Mexican

September 28th, 2009

I was going by the old Bickford’s last week and noticed the “For Lease” sign was gone and some guys out in the parking lot with some sort of equipment, I forget if it was a table saw, but something like that.
I looked up the address to see if there were any work permits out for this location on the town website. Looks like this will be a Mexican restaurant called La Caretta.  Not sure if it will be related to the small La Caretta chain in New Hampshire but it’s something different and maybe a good (late) replacement for anyone missing Chi-Chi’s that used to be across the street. I’m glad to see it will be another restaurant anyway.

Produce store coming along

September 20th, 2009

Back in July I posted about a sign for new produce store in the Trolley Square plaza.  Last week I was walking by and saw a crew working on the interior and a flyer in the window that lends a little more information about what the store will carry:

My friend Yanna and I are really looking forward to checking this place out.  Looks like they still have another few weeks of work left to do inside but it’s definitely coming along ! ?????? ???

Remodeled Dunkin Donuts unveiled

September 17th, 2009

We stopped by the recently remodeled Dunkin’ Donuts on Concord St.
The door pulls on the outside are the letter D, kind of cute.

The inside the color theme is kind of earth-tonish, which I like.

The set up isn’t as different as I thought it would be, it’s still basically the same but they did a nice job and I’m glad it’s an improvement to the area to have a nice newly remodeled shop here.

There’s a new salad dressing in town

September 15th, 2009

I love Fanny’s salad dressing and was surprised to find that La Cantina now offers a Balsamic Vinigrette version. I bought some and sent it to my sister in Oregon who is a devoted Fanny’s original fan and got a bottle for Ethan and I to try.
It’s great stuff. Since we bought it I haven’t used original at all, not that I won’t use it anymore but it’s very good. I highly recommend anyone who is looking for a new salad dressing to give it a try. I’m guessing they offer it at La Cantina but I found it at Stop & Shop.

Regal Cleaners

September 6th, 2009

I very rarely use a dry cleaner, not because have anything against them but I just don’t usually have a need for it. But I recently got some “dry clean only” items and since Regal Cleaners is so close to my house and they do such a nice job keeping up their property I thought I’d bring my stuff down there. side effects of oral ivermectin in humans
The owner is a really nice guy who was born and raised in Framingham We ended up talking for a while about the neighborhood. ivermectin cow lice It’s funny that he used to pump gas here when it was a gas station and now owns his own business here. kilox ivermectina 0.6 solucion oral para que sirve
Regal was very professional, fast (brought my clothes in around noon and they were ready by 4:30pm) and after calling around to a few places, found it to be the least expensive. It was only $4 per skirt while other places I called were $6 or $7.
If you live near Regal Cleaners (281 Concord St) I highly recommend you support this local business.

Dunkin Donuts Makeover

September 2nd, 2009

The Dunkin Donuts on Concord St. is getting a makeover.  Last week I thought maybe they were just closing this location, which would be crazy but lots of things I never thought would close have since we moved here.  Anyway, it’s nice to see that’s not the case and they’re renovating the store. how to give guinea pigs ivermectin   I’m curious to see how it looks when they’re done because the inside is totally gutted. oral ivermectin austrailia    The note on the door says while they’re closed to go to the Waverly St. location but I would recommend the  Franklin St. store which is probably equidistant and you don’t have to cross the train tracks to get to it.
