Flag Day
June 12th, 2009It’s a bummer that the Flag Day celebration at Farm Pond was cancelled but the Framingham History Center is holding a Flag Day Open House on Sunday, June 14 from 3:00-4:45pm.
From their publication: “We will host an Open House at the Edgell Memorial Library (3 Oak St. can ivermectin be administered to a nursing doe rabbit ) to showcase the Civil War flag carried by the 13th Regiment Massachusetts Volunteer Infantry. ivermectin treatment for cats  The public is invited to view this 34 star silk flag – perhaps the oldest existing flag in Framingham – prior to Flag Day ceremonies at 5:00 pm at the Edgell Grove Cemetery (Soldier’s Lot at the back corner of the cemetery)”
I think this is a great way to carry on the tradition of Flag Day while sharing a piece of history and remembering what our country’s flag stand for.
I was just telling my friend about that.
