I have heard from a couple of sources now that the site of (the dearly missed) Green Tea II is looking to become a sports bar kind of place. The proposed name is “Angry Ham’s Garage”. I’m not sure if “Ham” is meant as the loving nickname for our fair town or not but I just thought it was so funny. From what I was told, the proposing owner is local, not part of a chain of any sort. a que hora se toma ivermectina I’ll be interested to see how Angry Ham’s Garage progresses! ivermectin for dogs buy online

Due to a number of people recommending the Artistic Edge Salon, and the fact that I needed a haircut, I decided to check them out.
The owner, Jennifer Brumm has a comfortable salon. For me, getting my hair cut is like getting my car’s oil changed, I know I should do it but it always seems to be a pain to actually go get it done. Since I needed to take advantage of a day off from work and just finally go get my haircut, I called and asked Jennifer if she could fit me in that day. She was booked but she has a couple of other girls who work for her and use the same cutting techniques, so I booked an appointment with Gretchen.
I thought it was interesting that they specialise in “dry cutting” which is a technique Jennifer learned in Chicago, some places in Boston do it but she’s the only one in this area who does it. I’ll admit, I was a little sceptical, and even thought they just wanted to save on water or something but I was really surprised later when I washed it, that my hair (which usually puffs out when it air dries) stayed “normal” looking. I couldn’t believe it. So I asked Gretchen to write a little something about why dry cutting works so well. Here’s what she said:
“The reason cutting hair dry is so beneficial is because when you cut hair dry you can see were the hair falls naturally. When cutting hair wet you can not see a persons natural part, wave or kink especially people with cow licks and curly hair! Dry cutting curly hair is crucial. If you cut curly hair wet you can not see were the curl begins, if you cut curly hair with out knowing were the curl starts you ruin the cuticle and natural starting point of the curl which will lead to split ends and frizzy curls instead of healthy bouncy curls”.
Anyway, this was my latest discovery in hair salons in Framingham. You can check out their site for more info: http://artisticedgehairsalon.com

I know there were a few of you wondering what happened with the sudden closing of the KFC on 135 downtown. I still don’t know anything about it, but you might be happy to know it looks like there is a new fried chicken place opening up downtown called Crown Fried Chicken. ivermectin skin turned black and blue With the Chicken Bone, Wings Over Framingham and this place, now we’ll have three chicken specialty restaurants downtown! what does ivermectin do?

The downstairs space at 945 Worcester Rd. has something going on in it. There aren’t any permits online but the guy at the liquor store next door said it’s going to be a tattoo parlor. I’m not sure how he found out, but I’m guessing since he’s next door he knows more than I do. I’m not into tattoos so I’m not that excited, but I’m sure the college kids across the street will be and I’m glad that the space will be occupied with a tax-paying business.

The former Old Station Steakhouse had changed hands and became Cafe Belo. I never went to Cafe Belo but I think it was open for a year under that name. I know they had problems with underage drinking so I’m not sure if that’s why they closed but I’m still hoping someday it will re-open as something like Ebenezer’s but something different would be fine too. We have plenty of Brazilian buffets around here so another type of restaurant would be good to mix up the variety in downtown. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see what happens!

My friend and I went to Aoi (at 1060 Worcester Rd.) last night. I haven’t been here since it was Wasabi but I think it’s been Aoi for at least a year or maybe two now.
We started off with a tempura appetizer which was sampling of perfectly cooked vegetables and shrimp covered in a light and crispy batter served with a soy based dipping sauce.

We decided to split a sushi dinner that came with miso soup and salad. The sushi assortment was pretty good too. The maki roll that was included was some sort of spicy-mayo roll, we think it was scallop but it could have been white tuna with cucumber.

The service was good and this inside is cozy (my pictures of the interior came out blurry). We really liked the tempura and thought the sushi was decent but wasn’t quite the best we’ve had. Still I’d probably go back sometime and try some of the other dishes. Here’s their site for more info: http://www.aoisushi.com

A source told me that Bronzetti’s pizza planning on moving into the space that Red Pepper is in. The source is usually pretty reliable but I don’t see any permits yet to confirm. I don’t know if the rt. 9 location would stay open as well or if this is even really happening but I think it would be an improvement to what’s there now. I know some people love Red Pepper but we had a pretty bad meal there and I got some take out Hot and Sour soup there that was pretty much flavored with just black pepper (ironically not red). I think this location would be a great location for a pizza hangout and Liam-esque kind of place. We’ll see if this happens.
