This Is Framingham

I’m guessing this mural just rakes in the sales at Stardust Diamonds.  I thought they would take it down after DeBeers stopped using their eerie silhouette ads in the mid-90’s but here we are in 2006 and there’s no sign of it getting painted over.
I know if I were younger I’d definitely have nightmares about this wall.  There’s something about these phantom-like shadows with giant, senselessly floating jewelry that’s disturbing to me.

The whole wall is weird but the one that would definitely give me nightmares is the weird twisted-torso bald-alien-lady hugging herself behind a hovering ring.  I’ve though too much about how that’s supposed to be appealing.  It’s like a riddle with no answer!
