Cumberland Farms

October 21st, 2010

I’ve actually got a few emails suggesting I check out the new Cumberland Farms on at the Rt. 30/Speen St. intersection.
I never seem to get over this way anymore but made a trip just to see what the hub-bub was about.
It’s a nice looking building that’s simple but not boring.  I like the colors and the design.
Inside is everything that people said it would be. ???? ???? 2022   Bright, clean and a convenience oasis that rivals other gas stations.
A few pics of inside:

Cold drink wall:

Extensive coffee selection:

Candy:

Gum and mints:

This place IS pretty nice of a convenience store.  The people working there were nice and friendly and I know it’s new but I couldn’t get over how clean it was. ???? ????   I wish all gas stations were all like this! ???? ?????

  1. Like the modern design on the exterior–spiff up that intersection a little.

  2. And… there’s construction going on at the old Naked Fish. Wonder what’s going in there!?!?

  3. The old Naked Fish is going to be a Margarita’s Mexican restaurant. That other Mexican restaurant that’s coming to the old Bickford’s had better hurry up and open, or Margarita’s is going to be them. They seem to be moving along pretty quickly.

  4. Speaking of the other restaurant by the post office. Does anyone know what is going on with that place I swear it has been under construction for almost two years and the only vehicle I ever see in the parking lot is the black Range Rover.

  5. Funny that you mention that Black Range Rover, because I’ve noticed the same thing. The outside looks like it’s ready to go, but it seems like they’ve been working on the inside forever.

  6. Not sure if its the owner doing all his own work or what-not but I hope he finishes soon because I am beginning to memorize all the menus in the area, time for something new.

  7. The gas station is awesome and I love their tire air filling gizmo, the most easy and safest device ever. Just set the pressure and it fills for you. Margaritas should be nice, I hope they give free nachos and salsa..lol
