Some upcoming events at the Framingham Historical Center are the Open House Weekend and the 9th annual House Tour.
The Open House Weekend include a yard sale, Family Day on the common, tours of all three FHC buildings, exhibition and much more. Click here for more info.
The House Tour is on May 17th. This year’s Tour celebrates eight historically intriguing residences in diverse settings for which Framingham is proudly famous.

Also, Framingham’s Edgell Library is nominated as one of 25 historical buildings to receive $1 million to go toward preservation/restoration of that property.

Hi Michele - Thanks so much for posting all this information. Family Day will be rain or shine - there is a lot to do inside for kids and their parents in all three buildings. Also, the yard sale will move into Edgell library if need be too.
We re in 5th place in the Partners in Preservation voting. Pretty amazing when you consider the competition. I hope people go to the site and really check this out as it is quite an honor for Framingham to be in this Greater Boston initiative with the likes of the New England Aquarium, Paul Revere House and Old North Church. We are lucky in that we have a tight knit community and they are coming out in droves. They need to keep coming! Thanks again,
A
