Future Tattoo Parlor?

March 12th, 2010

The downstairs space at 945 Worcester Rd. has something going on in it.  There aren’t any permits online but the guy at the liquor store next door said it’s going to be a tattoo parlor.  I’m not sure how he found out, but I’m guessing since he’s next door he knows more than I do.  I’m not into tattoos so I’m not that excited, but I’m sure the college kids across the street will be and I’m glad that the space will be occupied with a tax-paying business.

  1. I like the way you present these comings and goings with such balanced perspective.

Me? I just can’t help but think about these changes of business in terms of whether Framingham is getting an upgrade or a downgrade; becoming more attractive or less. I guess it does depend on your perspective and a taxable business is always good, but as an invested resident I’m not sure another tattie parlor helps our appeal.

  2. I guess it’s good that a business is going in there, but I’m not sure a tattoo parlor is what that area wants or needs. I’m sure it will do great with the college nearby. Maybe it will bring the students into Framingham Centre and will help the other businesses.

  3. The name of the tatoo parlor has been unveiled. Itis Tatoo mandala. Henna tatoos. The signs are tidy and hopefully the clientele will be as well.

  4. I saw the sign on Sunday, and was intrigued. I bet the college is the attraction for the business. Good luck to them.
