No! They got Green Tea II too!

October 8th, 2008

I don’t know why Green Tea closed, maybe like some recent restaurant closings it was because of the economy.  We always liked the food here and the scallops with coriander was our favorite dish.

  1. It is a shame; always hate to see this happen.
Maybe cuz the location is set back from the street, you lose that traffic.
sure the economy did not help.
    sad.

  2. Anyone know if Red Pepper is still open? It looks pretty deserted. Just curious, I was thinking of trying them out.

  3. I loved the original in Newton (right on rt.9) and went many times when I lived in Needham, but the few times I went here in Framingham I was disappointed. The quality of the food wasn’t as good; neither was the service.

  7. Red Pepper is alive and well. I’ve eaten there 4 times in the last month. Good for take out as well as eat in. The food is delicious, fresh and original. They also have live music upstairs a few times a week.

  8. I loved the Szechuan Beef Noodle Soup at Green Tea II. The thing is the place was ALWAYS empty, and I mean always. I live around the corner from the building and there were never any cars in the lot.

On the other hand, Michi Kusa was always packed on weekend nights. I miss Michi Kusa!
