Panache Coffee

April 22nd, 2008

Panache Coffee recently opened at 680 Worcester Rd. (Ski Market Plaza).   My mom was over and it was so nice out, we decided to walk down to check it out.
Inside has been renovated nicely with lots of neutral colors, big windows and a little nook with a fireplace.

The guy at the counter was very patient with my mom who likes to ask lots of questions.  She asked about all the different “fancy” drinks, what kind of syrups they use and what “WiFi” is.

She ended up getting and iced coffee (w/ cream, pictured on the right) and I got an Iced Americano with a shot of chocolate.

My mom, who is very particular about her coffee, said her iced coffee was “really good”.  I was very happy with my Iced Americano as well.  I don’t know where they get their beans from but it tastes like they chose a good quality supplier.  There is also a case with a typical pastry assortment if people want a little something to go with their coffee.

I’m really glad Panche opened here.  It’s so nice to have a small coffee house that has great coffee, looks good inside and is close by.  I’m looking forward to supporting this local business.

  1. Oh man, I wish there was a coffee place like this when I was at FSC

  2. I worked there briefly when it was Bay Bank. So funny to see it now. I would have been so excited if I could work and get myself a grande latte all at the same time!

I’ll have to check it out when I’m over that way.

  3. I went to Panache the other day to complete some homework. Loved the atmosphere. Plenty of power for the laptop geeks and most of all free Wifi. I got a mocha and though it tasted just like starbucks. I was a big fan and I will be going back soon. Only problem i had was the music selection.

  4. This place looks better than any Starbucks AND they don’t burn the coffee. It was pretty empty when I went, but I guess they just opened so I think its only a matter of time before it fills up. Support Independent business!

  5. I went here yesterday to do some school work on my laptop. I really liked the atmosphere, it was very peaceful and had very few distractions. I got a mocha and the lady (who I believe is the owner) put a lot of care and effort into making my drink. I thought the drink tasted really good, better than Starbucks.

  6. We’ve gotten coffee (both hot and iced kinds) and some danish-type items there. The owner, Reshma, seems quite nice and sincere. We plan to frequent this new establishment and look into the Wifi as an alternative to other public places.

  7. I really like this place. Best of all, its an independent business not a chain. The coffee is fantastic and the decor is stunning. I am a regular.

  10. Wonderful atmosphere, friendly staff, good coffee. What a great relief from the crowded dirty environment of the name brand place across the street.

  13. I’ve been wondering about this new coffee shop. Considering the reviews I’ll walk over tomorrow and grab a mocha latte. I’ve been looking for an alternative to Starbucks and DD just doesn’t cut it for me.

    Great blog!!

  14. This si absolutely a great place, better than other chain coffee outlets.
I enjoyed the indoors, the light, the modern decor, the FREE WIFI….and coffee itself is pretty good and so is the staff behind the desk.

I hope this shop flurishes in Framinghama nd opens more outlets in Framingham iserving residents from different areas[ One location near Temple St/ Rt. 9 or the other location can be Saxonville area]

Kudos to owner and staff of Panche!!!

  15. Wow, this place is nice. Was just over there this weekend and tried the Iced Panache Mocha, mmmmmmm mmmmm… I love it. Also noticed that they are having an Open Mic night next Saturday 7/26 evening. Time to pull out the old guitar 🙂

  16. I finally tried Panache as it is on the right side of Route 9 when commuting to work. I tried it as an alternative to Starbucks. I ordered a medium coffee with a shot of espresso. Now I can’t get to work without one. The coffee is the best I’ve ever had from a coffee place. The atmosphere is nice, the bathroom is CLEAN, which is always a plus. It is very pleasant. Yesterday, I tried a blueberry muffin, which was fresh and delicious. I’d choose this any day over Starbucks.
