Panza to the rescue
March 30th, 2009
So I’ve picked up waitressing while I’m looking for permanent work and after the first week, everything hurt: Feet, knees, hips and back. I was dreading the dinner shift one day when I thought “Panza MUST have something”. One of the few luxuries of living downtown is that I didn’t have to get in the car and go to the mall or somewhere to look for quality shoes.
Ethan and I walked down there and I asked one of the store clerks what she recommended for waitressing. She brought several shoes and cheerfully got different sizes when I requested. I found these clogs called “Klogs”.

I tried them on but they were a little too loose. The nice lady helping me fitted them with a different insole and they were prefect. I was so happy about my new super-awesome (and comfy!) shoes, it was such a relief to come home at night and not be in pain. Thank you Panza for you great selection, friendly help and for just being there ![]()
Panza hits another home run! That place is great.

Wow! I went there for the first time on Sunday, and got the most AMAZING deal on a pair of Merrill shoes. Original price: 129.00 - Clearance Price: 59.00 - 1/2 off sale = my price paid of only 29.99!! Also learned that the Merrill brand shoes at DSW are made for DSW, and not quite as good in terms of quality.

I’ve gotten my shoes at Panza’s for years. They’re always so helpful and I always find exactly the perfect pair of shoes.

Panza is great and a long time business in down town. Another option for the food industry as well as for cops and firemaen is http://www.trippisuniforms.com/ in Shrewsbury. Been in business 80 uears.

A side note of work clogs and being on your feet, use an insole insert if you have a flatter foot. Planters fasciitis can be a side effect of wearing the shoes. A good fitting shoe is key. Trust me been there done that!! Good luck

Where are you waitressing so we can come by and request to be seating at your table?

So nice to know Panza’s is still in downtown Framingham. My mother used to take me there to buy shoes when I was a kid back in the ’50s. Downtown Framingham isn’t the downtown I knew growing up, but it’s good to see some things haven’t changed.
