Regal Cleaners
September 6th, 2009
I very rarely use a dry cleaner, not because have anything against them but I just don’t usually have a need for it. But I recently got some “dry clean only” items and since Regal Cleaners is so close to my house and they do such a nice job keeping up their property I thought I’d bring my stuff down there.
The owner is a really nice guy who was born and raised in Framingham We ended up talking for a while about the neighborhood. It’s funny that he used to pump gas here when it was a gas station and now owns his own business here.
Regal was very professional, fast (brought my clothes in around noon and they were ready by 4:30pm) and after calling around to a few places, found it to be the least expensive. It was only $4 per skirt while other places I called were $6 or $7.
If you live near Regal Cleaners (281 Concord St) I highly recommend you support this local business.
I do periodically get my suits dry cleaned. I go to another place which does a good job but is kind of pricey, so maybe I will check out Regal Cleaners in the future. I think Regal itself was very pricey when they first opened but I’m glad to hear the prices are reasonable.

I will use them next time I need something dry cleaned. Do they also do moderations such as shortening dress pants?

Yes they do!

This is good example of the quality exterior of what downtown (or other areas) should look like. They and the Waverly Market have done a good job. Framingham should not look like Miami.
As far as the business, they are a decent dry cleaner.

Regal’s does a good job. The owner is friendly and puts a lot of care into his storefront. If I remember right, he’s a gardner and does all the landscaping. I’m happy to give him my business.

This is a great place, I get all my work shirts done here, and the owner William Regal is a great guy. Prices are cheaper than Royal Cleaners over in Nobscot but not signifigantly

Owner is not William Regal, you must be thinking of a different place. Place does look nice though, not too sure about the owner though. City records show the property was going to be taken for non payment of prop taxes, but that looks to be cleared up now.

I do all my dry-cleaning there. I can’t say enough how happy I am with their service. I usually go in with a (ahem) rather large bag of dry-cleaning, and he gets the whole load done quick and well. I’d suggest them to anyone looking for a good place.
