River’s Edge Greenhouse

August 29th, 2006

Earlier this month I needed something to fill the barren space in front of the house where my black thumb killed the flowers I tried to grow.  I didn’t want to go to Home Depot to wander aimlessly and wait in a giant line to pay for a malnourished weed. ivermectina animales y humanos
Then I remember driving by a sign at the common in Framingham center (centre! kde koupit ivermectin v polsku ) that read “River’s Edge Greenhouse”
You can’t see anything from the sign but if you follow the arrow down the road it’s not far and there is the greenhouse.
There was plenty to choose from with decent prices and the plants were actually healthy and ready to be planted.

I was surprised because a few days before I went to Russell’s in Wayland and the prices were so steep, especially since almost everything looked like it was dying or looked like insects had chomped away at most of the leaves.
The two women at the register were so pleasant and helpful with all my stupid questions on how not to kill my purchase.  My marigolds are still alive and just as healthy looking as the day I bought them!

  1. Love this place… great local business with reasonable prices and good stuff. As Michelle said ,the staff is super nice. Cute little red rider wagons to pull your stuff around with you. We need more places like this in Framingham… has anyone checked out the two alleged Farmer’s Markets there are in Framingham???

  2. My wife and I love it there too. There’s never any pressure yet there’s always someone near by to answer a question. It’s a very relaxing place to just stroll around it.

  3. Hey Paul,
I went to a farmer’s market a few Thursdays ago (I took pictures but I don’t know what happened to them). It was my first one in Framingham. It’s not a wonderland of stands but enough to have some variety of breads and fresh local produce. I’ll probably check it out again Thursday.

  5. It’s Thursdays 12:30-5:30 on the green. Not the best hours for day working people like me but managed to catch the end of it once.
Too bad they don’t have it on Saturdays when most people are around.

  6. River’s Edge is great! I buy all my plants and flowers there. Staff is friendly and helpful, selection is great. You can stand for a long time getting good advice on types of flowers to buy, how to grow healthy tomatoes, etc. Support local business, especially of this quality!
