Sichuan Gourmet

August 18th, 2006

We decided to venture away from our usual Chinese restaurant and try Sichuan Gourmet.
Everything was really good.  The beef teriyaki was just ok but there was a dish called Rainbow Chicken that was really good.  It’s like a chicken and vegetable but the vegetables are julienned and it has a light tasty sauce, really good.
We also got fried shrimp and Kung Pao (old style) chicken.
We just got take-out but it looks nice to dine-in too.
Thumbs up for Sichuan Gourmet!

  2. If you want to experience authentic Sichuan, try:

Appetizers: Cold noodles, Won-tons w/ hot chili spice.

Entrees: Old style Sichuan chicken, beef or pork with hot chili sauce and cabbage, shredded beef with green beans.

    vegetable: Chinese eggplant.

    Don’t forget the white rice.

    Enjoy

  3. The hot & sour soup is about the best I’ve had anywhere. And do try the chicken with cashews, the sauce is REALLY great.

  4. Oh yes!!! That’s the best around. Their kung-pao chicken is the bomb. Used to be a thai place that was pretty good, but this one is even better.
