The Sub Way
July 23rd, 2007
The Sub Way (510 Union Ave.) is right down the street from us. I didn’t know what to think about this place since at first since I never really heard any word on the street about it but since it’s so close we decided to try it out. We’ve gone there a few times now and I think it’s pretty good. The guys behind the counter are always nice too. We haven’t got pizza there yet (we will someday) but we’ve been happy with their subs.
On our last visit Ethan got a ham and cheese and I got a chicken kabob sub which was very good.
Â

The chicken kabob came with greek dressing and feta cheese, it was the best sub I’ve had there so far so I’d say I would recommend this place for subs- pizza is yet to be determined…
Not the greatest place, but they make a killer Bacon Egg and Cheese sub!

This Sub Way has been around for a long time, I remember it being there as long as I can remember, LONG before the national chain subway appeared on the scene. They must be doing something right to still be around - but then again, that’s what we always said about Maria’s subs across from Scrub a Dub.

When I lived in Framingham I must have driven by the Sub Way a million times. It’s right across from Bowditch Field if I recall. Never been in there though.

Oh man I love this place. I take my yearly vacations in Framingham (yes I love my hometown that much) and the Sub Way is always a must stop. My mom used to take me there when I was knee high to a grasshopper as they say. I’ve been waiting to see you review it since stumbling on this blog.(I check it every couple of months to get my fix of the ham’)
For what it’s worth, I think the pizza is delicious, but more often than not I go with a sub.
