Walsh School 5k Road Race

May 28th, 2008

My friend Yana’s husband, who is a teacher at Walsh Middle School, helps to organize a 5K for a cause each year.
This year, the students were given a survey of organizations to help and chose the MSPCA (Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals)

Proceeds from this race help our furry friends find homes, get medical care, be treated humanely and live full lives.

  Walsh Middle School
  301 Brook Street in Framingham
  June 7
  9am registration for the run/walk
10am for BBQ, raffle and festivities

  1. The Metrowest Humane Society is also having their annual Walk for Animals also on June 7 at Hopkinton State Park. There will be all kinds of events including the walk, cat and dog contests, “Dunk the Docs” (thanks Dr. Rabout & Dr. Nord from Framingham Animal Hospital) a children’s prize wheel of fortune, a magician, and much much more!
