EO Noodle

June 27th, 2009

My friend and I went to EO noodle last week (1245 Worcester Rd).  I know this may be a wasted post since neither of us got the noodles, but my friend said she usually always gets the Dan-Dan noodles and loves them.
I remember this place used to be just noodles but now they have Chinese (yes, Americanised) food too and we just got a couple of lunch specials.
Specials come with hot and sour soup, which was pretty good:

Lisa got the Kung Pao chicken that came with rice and an eggroll:

Not thinking of how boring this would be for the blog, I got vegetarian’s delight that came with a springroll (not pictured) and white rice:

Everything was pretty standard but good. I did like the fresh fruit that comes with the meal and it was actually ripe and very tasty.
I’d definitely go back and try the noodles when I’m in the mood for that, but for a quick lunch, this place has good food that is reasonably priced (lunch specials were somewhere between $5-6).

  1. Looks good to me! Veggies look fresh, and I like the fruit…now a little tofu would have been nice on a veg dish, but otherwise I’d try it!

  2. We get takeout from here pretty frequently and they do several things very well. I recommend the peking ravioli, the noodle soup with wontons, and noodles with meat sauce.

  3. EO must stand for “Excellent Oriental” because this place is the best!!!!

  5. We’ve always liked EO Noodle as well. The Wonton soup and steamed buns are really good! And keep up the great blog, Michelle!

  6. I also like EO Noodle, and am impressed by the low cost/high quality meals. My only complaint is their water, it tasted very poor to me. I asked a manager about it and he said he didn’t know why but agreed, he was a nice guy and let me have an appitizer for free, but I am concerned about what was in that water, only place I had that happen to me was a Papa Ginos once.

  7. I have loved EO Noodle since I started working on Speen Street about 10 years ago. I have never had their Chinese food off of their new menu, but can attest to the high quality of their noodle dishes. Especially the Dan Dan which this blogger already commented on.

  8. Is EO Noodle closed?
