Finally the “for lease†signs in the windows of the old Woolworth have gone and paper is up in the windows to hide whatever exciting construction is going on in there.
I noticed that half of the old sign has tuned yellow. I’m not really sure why. Is the new owner making it yellow and ran out of paint, on a perfect line down the middle? Will everything in the store be half yellow and half white? Who knows!
Whatever it’s going to be, it needs R&R panel with sheet rock. So basically, it could be anything- but, it’s going to be something! So I’ll look forward to that and hope it’s something I want to go to. Â

I went down to check out the celebration and see if it was as out of control as some have reported. It was very festive and loud with all the horns blaring, but thanks to the Framingham PD, well controlled.
I was really impressed with the very organized efforts to control the crowd and traffic.
As you can see there was some heavy traffic and I felt bad for anyone trying to get through and hadn’t paid attention to the world cup schedule and score but it would’ve been pretty wild if the police hadn’t managed traffic and people like they did. Â

I originally took this picture to post about fond memories of learning to drive at A&A auto school. Getting the hands on experience of driving with the instructor who looked like he or she wanted to be anywhere but in the car with me and my classmates. I remember I used to think it was cool that the instructors would smoke in the car.
I was noticing that in the picture next door the old army recruiting office is under construction. I looked up on the town permit page to see if I could find out anything and I saw this.
Is this THE health clinic that has been talked about so much? I didn’t know it was approved and I thought it was going down by the dentist office on Waverly street but maybe I’m wrong on both counts.

The only accident I’ve even been in was at this stop sign a few years ago. It was my fault. The person in front of me started to go and then I looked back at route 9 to make sure it was clear, and it was, so as I turned forward I started to step on the gas only to find the Durango in front of me stopped after initially moving and I rear-ended it at a whopping 1 mile an hour. ivermectin tablets chew or swallow
I was more than apologetic but this lady was mean and dramatic acting like I came wailing into her at 80mph while drunk, on a cell phone and eating a bag of chips. can you use both premethrin cream and ivermectin on humans
When the police officer got there and was telling her I gave him my insurance info, she looked at me and then at him, put her hand on her hip and said “Oh, you mean she HAS insurance?” I’m not really sure what that was supposed to mean, isn’t it the law to have insurance for MA plate car? Did I look like some scrub that was trying to drive with an uninsured, MA plate car?
The officer, who was really nice, told me that stop sign is the one of the top places (if not the top) in Framingham for accidents.
This lady got $20,000 for her sore neck (mind you, I was in my little econo car and bumped her towering Dodge Durango) but then tried to get MORE money from my insurance company and that’s when it become known that she was in an identical accident at the SAME exact stop sign a week earlier and got money from that person’s insurance too.
Hmm…stopping short to get $20,000 is a pretty good plan if you are a total sleazebag.
The insurance companies conducted a stakeout on her and watched her to see if she was really acting like her neck had this much damage or whatever she was claiming. I’m guessing she was caught because she retracted her demand for more money and went back to the bridge she lives under. Anyway, that’s why it’s on my $#@% list. (even though I know it was my fault)

My sister and I used to joke about how sketchy Sampan looks and how horrible the food must be, even though we had nothing to support our assumptions. After 20 or so years of joking about it, I found myself in there one night ordering take-out.
The inside was pretty worn, but typical of many Chinese restaurants I’ve been in. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised that the food wasn’t too bad. It wasn’t the best I’ve ever had, but it wasn’t the worst either.
I had to call my sister, who doesn’t even live in Massachusetts anymore that I finally tried it and it wasn’t so scary. She still says she’d never go in there but I feel better that I know it’s not quite the seedy establishment we made it out to be all these years.

A true Framingham tragedy! In December this Friendly’s on Union Ave closed all of the sudden. I drove by it on my way home one day and the sign read “Thank you Framingham” and was shut down. ivermectin india delta I never even got to have a farewell Fribble! ivermectin tablet ip 12 mg uses in hindi
This stinks because it was in walking distance of my house and on a hot day after doing hours of yard work there was no greater reward than walking down the street to get a well-deserved cone. ivermectina em excesso
Hopefully this won’t become an addition to the many vacant stores in Framingham but nothing seems to be happening with it.
Good bye old friend(ly’s)

I miss the 400 Club, they had excellent eggplant parm subs. It was doing nothing for a while then was bought, has been repainted and the booths were out in the parking lot one Saturday with a sign that read “FREE”.
I hope it’s not going to be another insurance office or boring business, why else would they get rid of the booths? ?????? ?????? ??????
