Um….

July 20th, 2010

I was reading an article in the MWDN about a proposed classy strip joint at the former Tin Alley Grill location.
I’m usually all for small business and it would be great to not have that building vacant but I feel like this isn’t going to do Framingham any favors since we have a little bit of a PR problem as it is. ivermectina comprimido preço    But who knows, maybe it would be the most rootinist, tootinist strip club around! ivermectin composition  I feel  like it won’t get approved though and that would be fine with me. manfe ivermectin

Registry services for AAA members

July 8th, 2010

According to the MWDN, the AAA office next to Walgreens on Rt.9 will be offering RMV services to their members.  This is great since Ethan and I signed up for AAA last year and this great to know we can avoid going to the Mass Pike location in Natick to get license renewals. betfinal com   Currently the old RMV downtown still remains vacant 🙁

Framingham History Center Website Wins Award

July 2nd, 2010

The New England Museum Association runs an annual publication competition in several categories.  The Framingham History Center won the Judge’s Choice Award in the “Websites, Budget under $750,000” category.
I’m not just happy because it’s where I work, but also that my husband Ethan was the web designer who created the site.  So, it was nice to have him get some kudos too!
Click here the MWDN article about it, and the FHC site, and Ethan’s web design site.

Ice Cream at Eastleigh Farm

June 29th, 2010

Last week my boss and I decided to take a fieldtrip to Eastleigh Farm and take part in their $1 scoop ice cream deal.
I had never been to the farm but I’ve heard about it a lot this year due to the Board of Health recently approving the sale of raw milk and all the hubbub that went along with that .
The shop is in a rustic building at the front of the property and inside they sell all their goods like milk, ice cream, cheese, eggs and more.

The ice cream they sell is not made with raw dairy and they have a lot of flavors to choose from.
Annie got chocolate chip and I got Almond Joy.  The cones are a very decent size for . ????? ?????? 2023

The price goes up after July 4th, to how much I don’t know, but I think this heat wave we’ve been having is a great reason to take a trip to the farm and get a cone! ???? ??????   For more information checkout Eastleigh’s site at: http://eastleighfarm.com

I took this picture at their Marlborough location.  I couldn’t find an opeing date for the Framingham location on their website but it will be at the “food mall” at Rt. ????? ??? ???? 30 and Caldor Rd.  Can’t wait till they open!

Former White’s Hardware to House Wine

June 21st, 2010

The Planning Board is meeting on June 24th and on the agenda is parking for the former White’s Hardware which will finally be occupied.  As soon as White’s when out of business, I wondered what could possibly want to take it’s place.  The location is behind a strip of three stores on Franklin St and it’s very hard to see from the street.

When I heard that a wine storage company was looking to move in, it seemed like a perfect fit.  A big warehouse type space that doesn’t need pedestrian traffic to operate.  International Wine Vault has a website you can check out to see what they do and what their rates are.  I won’t be needing their services, but I think it’s great they are occuping the old place and I wish them luck.  One less empty, lifeless building in Framingham!
